Sam Broadcaster / Sam Broadcaster Setup With MSS...

First off you'll have to know that MSSQL is an advanced program where you need multiple downloads from Microsoft, first you'll need the MSSQL Express
MSSQL 2019 Express
Then You're going to need Advanced Tools:
Management Software
This is where things are going to get spicy since you're going to need to install the setup, and I will go through it bit by bit; however, this will NOT be recommended for basic users please see the other topic as that is related to MySQL and a full picture guide to make sure it works!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SETUP FOR ANYONE ELSE
THIS IS A NONE PICTURE GUIDE
This guide is to show you CAN do it! (primarily this is to remove the guide from discord).
Setup SQL2019-SSEI-Expr.exe - Will have a backup link at the bottom of this post!
This is for MSSQL Server Only.
This is for Management Studio (needed to setup further)
Next Up Launching MSSQL Management Software to setup the database ready for going full force into Sam Broadcaster.
Now we're ready to install Sam Broadcaster 4.2.2

For database selection you're going to use MSSQL;

Side note: This management software has been tested and proven to be valuable to those who have over 636,026 music files - but again not recommended for those who don't understand databases, nor understand this guide, we do not provide any fixes for MSSQL - Even though I have personally used it for more than just Broadcasting.

Step 1: Open SQL2019-SSEI-Expr.exe from downloads -> Hit Yes on the UAC (If you have it open)
Step 2: Hit Basic
Step 3: Agree to their License Terms
Step 4: Install (Grab a coffee, a joint or whatever you want to watch the screen with!)
Step 5: Take note on the Instance Name - Should be something like localhost\SQLEXPRESS
Step 6: Close. - That is fully installed MSSQL.
This is for Management Studio (needed to setup further)
Code Select
Step 1: Open vs_SSMS.exe -> Hit Yes on the UAC (If you have it open)
Step 2: Continue
Step 3: Install (Grab another coffee/joint/beer/booze whatever you're choice is)
Step 4: Click Ok
Step 5: Close via XNext Up Launching MSSQL Management Software to setup the database ready for going full force into Sam Broadcaster.
Code Select
Step 1: Start -> SQL Server Management Studio 21
Step 2: Skip and add accounts later
Step 3: Click No
Step 4: Change Encryption to Optional then Connect
Step 5: Right click on Databases -> New Database
Step 6: We're going to call the database -> SamDBNow we're ready to install Sam Broadcaster 4.2.2

> in the top box its localhost\SQLEXPRESS
> bottom box -> SamDB
-> LEAVE the Database Login Details ALONE
-> Install as you would normally.Backup Links of software

Kate - Another notepad (one can never have enough notepads!)
Shotwell - Graphics thing
Flatpak required for other things
Netframework - Required for some applications to work!

It'll prompt you to remove the installation medium then press enter - so remove the USB then hit enter!
You're Now completed with the installation Part 1
If you choose to do the update once loaded up hit close at the end
If you've downloaded the link (provided later) if you have the file downloaded from either here or from the website provided, (update later)
Some desktops laptops and other hardware will require you to sort out the boot EFI file, which i've got written down somewhere that will work, but
-> The EFI File is: Shimx64 - This is required to boot Linux Ubuntu - BUT i do not have the folder path atm. I will update later on when i do have the location where it is!!
-> Once you've got the Script.sh file (which i will be providing later on)
You'll need to make it executable (basically allows the commands to run on the script) you need a terminal to do this,. so open the usb drive you copied the file script.sh to and then right click copy the .sh file and paste it into the downloads folder of linux in downloads right click an empty space not the file and then select open in terminal "open in terminal"
if your a gamer select 1 for everything
now you'll be prompted with a black box with your username@computer-name ~/Downlods$ and a cursor flashing
We need to do this
chmod +x ./script.sh
that makes the script executable
Then we need to run the script
./script.sh
Once done it'll prompt for your password; you need to do this to install the script!!
Again this setup file will be provided later!!
Once you've done this sit back and monitor it; it'll prompt you for a few options after that you're on Linux

Step 2 requires some BIOS information (Usual buttons F1, F2, Del button) - You need to set the boot order, which i have a guide for Acer Aspire and custom made pc's
Step 3; you need to change so you're booting from the USB made in Step 1
Optional Step: Connect to Wifi! AGAIN THIS IS OPTIONAL (But recommended)
-> To do this click on the network icon at the bottom on the taskbar
-> Then key in your wireless password after selecting your network
Step 4: Once you've booted you'll be presented with a crown screen and this is the correct screen you need to click on "Install Ubuntu Cinnamon 24.04.1 LTS" (Double Click)
Step 5: Select your Language pack - which should be English if you can understand this! - Hit Next
Step 6: Hit Next (Accessibility options are available here)
Step 7: Keyboard settings; make sure you have yours set to your country for example mine is English (UK) - Hit Next
Step 8: If you connected to wifi already - you can hit next or connect here
Step 9: I would recommend Interactive Installation so hit Next!
Step 10: Ubuntu Cinnamon Desktop - Hit Next (NOT mimimized)
Step 11: To help with your system run smoothly; "Install Third-Paarty Software for graphics and Wi-Fi Hardware" (Tick!) then Tick Download and install support for additional media formats - Hit NEXT
Step 12: Erase Disk and install Ubuntu Cinnamon - BE WARNED: THIS WILL WIPE YOUR HARD DRIVE!!!!
-> Hit Next
Step 13: Create Your User area - this is also your password for "sudo" user. Super User permissions
-> Your Name
-> You can skip Computer name (This is for Network administrators)
-> Your UserName
-> Your selected password (its recommended having the password just not 12345 (don't do a me with MySQL months ago! hehe))
-> Hit next
Step 13: Your TimeZone - ensure your time zone is correct then hit next!
Step 14: Review your configurations then hit Next!
Then Sit back and enjoy some pot, weed, coffee or something else to your hearts enjoyment while this is installing!!

ALL Remote connections are henceforth cut off, we're not doing remote support at all! I'm rather disappointed i'm having to write this but this isn't for OUR Safety but rather YOURS!
Our technicians are here to help make sure your radio stream is running close to 100% capability as possible! We do NOT encourage users to remote, and nor should we have access to your private systems!
I've been against remote support for years, this is because we design the structure the way it is to make it easy and more accessible for everyone to use our systems! I don't even support remote support for port forwarding (never have to be honest).
I've come across instances where people have accused myself and others of things they have never done such as:
-> Installing Teamviewer (This software is commonly used to connect to others - usually i say RUN ONLY - but now i say don't even use this software)
-> Opening/installing Bittorrent/Utorrent or any other software NOT SPECIFICALLY asked by the end user.
-> Creating Backdoors in software that shouldn't exist in normal use and in normal situations will NEVER happen
-> Activating FTP access on a computer - dangerously harmful in the wrong hands!
-> Activating IIS access on a computer - not too bad but website development should be kept to website makers only.
We shouldn't have to keep remoting users for fixing sound issues, or any other problems that can be simply google'd
We finally have had enough of trying to help you guys and make sure your privacy is secure at all costs!
